Kevin Molino – Male Senior Player of the Year
Kevin delivered a strong and influential 2025, combining experience, leadership, and consistent attacking output at both club and international level. Returning to the local game with Defence Force, Molino played a central role in their attacking play, contributing goals, assists, and match-winning performances while leading by example as a senior figure in the squad. His vision and composure were evident throughout the domestic season. At international level, Molino continued to answer the call for the Trinidad and Tobago senior men’s team, producing decisive moments during Concacaf competition and World Cup qualifying, including a crucial goal in a 1-1 draw with Jamaica and an assist in the 1-1 draw away to Curacao. He also scored an equalizer in a 3-2 loss to Jamaica at the Unity Cup in London. His overall impact across competitions underscored his value to the national programme.
Nikita Gosine – Senior Female Player of the Year
Nikita Gosine’s rise in 2025 marked her out as one of the most exciting young attacking players in the country. Still in her teenage years, she consistently impressed at the school and youth levels with her speed, confidence on the ball, and eye for goal. Her performances earned her opportunities at senior international level, where she made appearances for the Women’s National Team and showed maturity beyond her age. She scored in a 4-1 defeat to Jamaica in a friendly late in 2025. Gosine’s breakthrough year reflected her growing influence, potential, and readiness to compete on the senior stage.
Derrel Garcia – Male Youth Player of the Year
Derrel Garcia enjoyed a notable 2025 campaign, continuing his progression within the domestic top tier while holding his own against experienced opposition. Featuring prominently in Tier One competition, Garcia made meaningful contributions through his attacking movement, work rate, and ability to impact matches. His performances demonstrated confidence, consistency, and an improving understanding of the demands of senior football at a young age. The national senior men’s technical staff recognised his development, calling him into the provisional squads which saw him make appearances in an away friendly series away to Jamaica in early 2025.
Orielle Martin – Female Youth Player of the Year
Orielle Martin produced a strong body of work in 2025 across Trinidad and Tobago’s youth women’s programmes. She was a regular presence within the national youth setup, featuring in key international fixtures and qualifying campaigns. Martin’s versatility, technical ability, and tactical awareness allowed her to influence games in multiple roles, and she consistently rose to the demands of international competition. Her performances reflected both individual quality and a strong understanding of team play, earning her recognition as the standout female youth player for the year.
