TTFA Congratulates Joshua Regrello on Guinness World Record feat

The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) proudly congratulates Joshua Regrello on his remarkable Guinness World Record-breaking attempt to achieve two records: the Longest Marathon Playing Steelpan and the Longest Marathon Playing a Chrome Musical Instrument of Trinidad and Tobago. The eventual time of 31 hours is now the longest-playing pan marathon.

Previous steelpan world records had been set for the largest pans, but not for marathon playing.

The TTFA was honored to support this historic endeavor by supplying all official timekeepers, comprising certified match referees and game officials, to ensure the accuracy and credibility of this extraordinary feat.

Regrello began the challenge–Longest Marathon For Playing Steelpan– at 6am on Friday and created the historical feat around 12:30pm today at Wack Radio station on Coffee Street, San Fernando, owned by Kenny Phillips.

TTFA President Kieron Edwards stated:

“Joshua’s attempt exemplifies the resilience and talent of Trinidad and Tobago. We are thrilled to have played a part in this historic moment by providing our skilled officials. This achievement not only celebrates our unique culture but also inspires the nation to pursue excellence in every field.”

The TTFA remains committed to supporting initiatives that showcase the spirit and talent of Trinidad and Tobago.
