T&T Men start Nations League Campaign on Sept 24
Trinidad and Tobago will begin its 2026/27 Concacaf Nations League campaign with an away fixture against Haiti on September 24 as Concacaf officially confirmed the schedule for the opening League A window.
T&T were drawn in League A, Group A alongside Costa Rica, Haiti, Curaçao, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic following Thursday’s official draw in Miami.
Head Coach Derek King and his squad will play four matches during the September-October FIFA international window, with two at home and two away, as they seek one of the two qualifying spots for the League A Quarterfinals.
Trinidad and Tobago’s fixtures are:
September 24 – Haiti vs Trinidad and Tobago (Away)
September 28 – Trinidad and Tobago vs Dominican Republic (Home)
October 2 – Curaçao vs Trinidad and Tobago (Away)
October 6 – Trinidad and Tobago vs Curaçao (Home)

The top two teams from each League A group will advance to the Quarterfinals in November, where they will join the four pre-seeded nations – Mexico, the United States, Canada and Panama.
In addition to determining the Nations League champion, the competition also serves as the qualification pathway for the 2027 Concacaf Gold Cup.
Head Coach Derek King, currently in Louisville for tomorrow’s friendly, welcomed the release of the schedule, saying the team is eager to continue building on the work done throughout the year.
“We’ve had a number of valuable opportunities to work with the players over the past few months, and now the focus shifts to performing when the competitive matches begin. Every game in this group will be challenging, but we believe we have a squad capable of competing,” he told TTFA Media.

“Our objective is straightforward. We want to put ourselves in a position to qualify for the quarterfinals. That starts with being fully prepared for Haiti and ensuring we’re ready to make the most of our home matches. We’ll continue working hard over the coming weeks to have the team in the best possible condition.”
The fifth edition of the Concacaf Nations League will conclude in March 2027, when the League A Finals are staged at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
