FC Phoenix joins TTPFL Tier 1

FC Phoenix will join the Trinidad and Tobago Premier Football League (TTPFL) Tier One (1) for the upcoming 2023/2024 Season which kicks off on 24 November 2023.

FC Phoenix’s application to join Tier 1 was received in early October 2023 and was approved by the TTPFL upon review.

FC Phoenix will be the first Tobago based club to compete in Tier 1.

Last season, FC Phoenix, were crowned champions of the TTPFL Tier Two (2) after defeating Petit Valley/Diego Martin United 2-1 in the Play Offs at the Dwight Yorke Stadium. Boasting players with impressive resumes in the professional zone, including Mickael Jem Gordon and Trevin Caesar, the team went unbeaten in the inaugural league season.

In another change to Tier 1, W. Connection have opted for a sabbatical for the 2023/2024 campaign to restructure the club financially and administratively.
