The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) is pleased to announce the continuation of its flagship National Youth League, which kicks off on Saturday 28 February 2026. Matches will be played every Saturday and Sunday over the next six (6) months at venues across Trinidad and Tobago.

The competition will be delivered under the direct management of the TTFA, reinforcing competitive integrity, operational consistency and long-term sustainability, while preserving the proud tradition and high standards that have historically defined the National Youth League.

The Association’s zonal bodies — North, South, East, Eastern Counties, Central and Tobago — will play a central role in the execution of the programme. As primary coordinators of match operations, they will oversee all age divisions: Boys’ Under-15, Under-17 and Under-20, as well as Girls’ Under-17 and Under-20. Their leadership at the community level ensures the league remains well-organised, inclusive and accessible to young players throughout the country.

In an exciting enhancement to the competition structure, clubs from the Trinidad and Tobago Premier Football League (TTPFL) will compete in the Under-20 division within a dedicated Youth Pro League. This initiative strengthens the national player development pathway and creates a seamless transition from youth to senior professional football.

At the conclusion of the league phase, the top two teams in each category will advance to a National Knockout competition, where champions in their respective divisions will be crowned.

The TTFA regards the National Youth League as a cornerstone of its talent development framework, providing a structured and competitive environment in which the nation’s young footballers can grow, perform and aspire to higher levels of the game.
