TTFA Executive Moves Forward with Renewed Focus and Commitment

The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) Executive, having taken office in April 2024, has been actively engaged in laying a solid foundation for the future of football in Trinidad and Tobago.

Over the past few weeks, significant strides have been made as we work diligently to restore the organization to a level of respectability and efficiency.

Central to our efforts has been the ratification and appointment of members to our various standing committees. This decisive step is crucial to ensuring that the TTFA operates with the highest standards of governance, professionalism, and accountability.

We believe these appointments are a testament to our commitment to bringing transparency and trust to all our stakeholders, including our TTFA members, our players, coaches, fans, and the wider public.

The TTFA Executive understands the immense responsibility and hardwork that comes with the mandate entrusted to us and we are fully aware that the hardwork must continue.

Our goal is to elevate the TTFA to a level it has never reached before, and we are determined to achieve this through calculated and strategic decisions. We remain focused on building an organization that all our stakeholders can be proud of.

The TTFA is committed to maintaining open lines of communication with our stakeholders and to ensuring that our actions reflect the best interests of football in Trinidad and Tobago.

The current TTFA Executive is now tasked with the significant challenge of restoring financial stability and integrity to our organization.

This effort comes at a crucial time when substantial resources need to be allocated towards our country’s 2026 World Cup drive. We are committed to managing the TTFA’s finances responsibly and transparently, ensuring that every dollar is spent in a manner that supports the growth and success of Trinidad and Tobago football.

Additionally, we must address the state of the Home of Football and to bring this facility to a level that is adequate for its intended purposes. This can deliver tangible benefits to the FA and we must allocate significant funding for its refurbishment. The Home of Football has the potential to be a cornerstone for the development of football in Trinidad and Tobago, but only if it is properly upgraded and maintained.

Our priority is to ensure that this facility can serve our players, staff, and the wider football community effectively.

We thank our stakeholders, supporters, and the football community for their patience and understanding as we continue to work diligently to rectify the financial mismanagement of the past and build a stronger, more sustainable future for TTFA.
