Senior Women’s Team Staff Positions Now Open

SENIOR WOMEN’S TEAM STAFF POSITIONS NOW OPEN

The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) is now accepting applications for the positions of Senior Women’s National Team Head Coach, Assistant Coach and Goalkeeping Coach. Applicants are asked to submit their resume, contact information and a copy of all related documents by email to technical.ttfa@gmail.com or via physical copy at the TTFA Office (Ato Boldon Stadium,Couva) no later than 6:00 pm (AST) on Sunday 28 May 2023.

HEAD COACH

Applicants for the position of Head Coach must be able to:

Lead and manage the Senior Women’s National Team, including its player personnel, technical and support staff. To select the player personnel of the relevant national team.
To develop and implement the training programme of the Senior Women’s National Team.
Promote an appreciation of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Can work cohesively with other professionals – physiotherapist, psychologist etc.
Identify the individual abilities of each player, and create suitable IDP (Individual Development Plans). Communicates openly and effectively in a positive team environment.
Must have an understanding of tactical periodization.
Have the ability to be a role model and mentor athletes.
Ability to analyse tactical trends within elite football, e.g. (Formations and game principles).
To report on the implementation of said programme to the Normalization Committee including the performance of player personnel and technical staff.
To perform such other duties of a technical nature as may occasionally be assigned to him/her by the Association after consultation between the him/her and the Normalization Committee.

Minimum Qualifications: TTFA B’ Licence or equivalent.

Desired Qualifications: TTFA A’ Licence or equivalent.

Minimum Experience: Five (5) years coaching at the senior level and working knowledge of Women’s football in CFU and Concacaf.

Desired Experience: Ten (10) years coaching at the senior level and coached at a National Team (senior and/or youth) level.

Skills: The ideal candidate would possess a high degree of leadership, organizational, planning, interpersonal, and communication skills. The candidates should have experience in budget preparation and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Candidate should also be able highly motivated, a team player and problem solver.

ASSISTANT COACH

Applicants for the position of Assistant Coach must be able to:

  • To assist the Senior Women’s National Team Head Coach in the management of player personnel, technical and support staff.
  • To assist in the coordination and supervision of training programme of the Senior Women’s National Team.
  • To assist in the selection of the player personnel of the said National Team.
  • Promote an appreciation of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
  • Can work cohesively with other professionals – physiotherapist, psychologist etc.

  • Communicates openly and effectively in a positive team environment.
