TTFA Launches Referees Recruitment Course for Aspiring Match Officials

The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association is inviting aspiring match officials to take the first step into officiating with the launch of its Referees Recruitment Course, which begins on Thursday 9th April 2026.

Designed for individuals passionate about football and eager to play a vital role on matchday, the course offers participants a pathway into the world of refereeing — with opportunities to progress through the ranks locally, regionally, and even internationally under FIFA and CONCACAF.

Step Into the Game
The TTFA is encouraging persons from all backgrounds to get involved and become part of the dynamic community of match officials. Refereeing not only keeps individuals close to the game but also develops leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.

Course Details

The programme will be delivered through a blended format, combining virtual classroom sessions with in-person practical training to ensure participants gain both theoretical knowledge and on-field experience.

Requirements:
Minimum of three (3) CSEC (‘O’ Level) passes or equivalent.
