Eve names 23-Man Roster for Nations League opener
Trinidad and Tobago head coach Angus Eve has named a 23-man Squad for the two upcoming Concacaf Nations League matches against Curacao and El Salvador on September 7th and 10th.
The squad has been in training at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium since Monday and will have its final session tomorrow (Wednesday) at the Hasely Crawford Stadium with Eve scheduled to address the media in the official matchday-1 Press Conference prior to training.
Curacao arrived in the country on Monday night and will train later in the evening at the game venue on Wednesday.
There are first-time call-ups for Defence Force goalkeeper Christopher Biggette and Jabari St Hillaire while his club teammate Brent Sam has also earned a call along with defender Justin Garcia and Club Sando forward Nathaniel James. Among the returning members from the Gold Cup squad are Aubrey David, Ryan Telfer, Malcolm Shaw, Andre Rampersad, Denzil Smith, Neveal Hackshaw, Kaile Auvray, Kareem Moses and Shannon Gomez. There is also a recall for Defence Force forward Reon Moore while Swedish-based midfielder Kristian Lee-Him who made his debut in the 1-0 win over Guatemala in June’s friendly in Philadelphia is also back in the mix. Portugal-based defender Andre Raymond, AC Port of Spain midfielder Duane Muckette and US-based defender Jesse Williams have also earned recalls.
Ruled out through injury are AEK Athens frontman Levi Garcia (quadricep tear), Real Gill (hamstring tear), Tyrone Charles (meniscus and femoral bone bruise), Nicklas Frenderup (femoral bone bruise), Ajani Fortune (hamstring injury) and Josiah Trimmingham (abductor tear).

Tickets are on sale for Thursday’s encounter at the Hasely Crawford Stadium from 12 midday on matchday as well as at Fan Zone and Fan Club outlets and online at www.suntixx.com. Tickets are priced at $50 (Uncovered Section), $100 (Covered Section) and kids 12 and under are free. Stadium Gates open at 4:00pm.
There is also a Pre-Game and Post Match lime at 63 Lounge on the Avenue with ticket stub holders set to enjoy additional specials while tickets for the Party-Inclusive Section Vybes Section are also available at Terminal 4, Long Circular Mall.
