ACADEMIES COMPLETE SAFEGUARDING TRAINING
The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) is pleased to provide an update on the ongoing Academy Registration process and the November 2022 dates for the Safeguarding Workshops.
One hundred and eighty five (185) persons have successfully completed the TTFA Level 1 Safeguarding Workshop and are currently eligible to work with youth players in Trinidad and Tobago.
We are also pleased to announce that Gateway Athletics Football Academy, Clint Marcelle Football Academy and Santa Cruz United Football Academy were the first of eight (8) academies/youth teams to fully complete the TTFA safeguarding screening process and are now moving onto the registration phase.
The TTFA would like to take this opportunity to remind individuals, academiesand youth teams that safeguarding clearance will be mandatory for full participation in all TTFA organized and/or sanctioned youth competitions from January 1st 2023. Therefore individuals and academies that have started the process are encouraged to complete it in a timely manner and we invite those who haven’t to attend one of our TTFA Level 1 Safeguarding Workshops in November.
