History

The Women’s Senior Team has produced several outstanding players, the likes of Desiree Searjeant, Ricarda Nelson, Kathyann Nixon and Izler Browne from the past, to current day players Kennya Cordner, Arin King, Mariah Shade, Ahkeela Mollon among others. Coaches who have overseen their early development include the late Robbie Greenidge who led the team in its first World Cup qualification attempt in 1991, Jamaal Shabaaz and Marlon Charles.

The senior team has maintained a ranking among the top fifty teams in women’s world football for quite some time and continues to make strides with its sights set on qualification for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

A vibrant local women’s league (WOLF) and a rapidly improving Secondary Schools League has also played a pivotal role in the development of players and acts as a feeder for the Senior Team.
