Fourteen T&T Match Officials Appointed to FIFA Referees Panel for 2026
Trinidad and Tobago’s presence on the international football refereeing stage continues to grow, with fourteen (14) local match officials appointed to the FIFA Referees Panel for 2026.
The appointments, confirmed through FIFA, reflect the continued progress, consistency and professionalism of Trinidad and Tobago’s refereeing programme, and underlines the country’s reputation for producing officials capable of performing at the highest level of the game.
The officials named to the 2026 FIFA panel are:
Referees
Timothy Derry, Cecile Hinds, Nikolai Nyron,Andrew Samuel, Crystal Sobers,Kwinsi Williams, Nathalya Williams
Assistant Referees
Kirt Charles, Evelyn Carissa Douglas, Keron Myers, Melissa Nicholas, Shash Ramsaroop, Ainsley Rochard, Caleb Wales
TTFA President Kieron Edwards welcomed the appointments, describing them as a positive reflection of the work being done behind the scenes.
“This is a proud moment for Trinidad and Tobago football,” Edwards said.
“Our match officials continue to earn respect regionally and internationally through their discipline, preparation and commitment to excellence. These appointments do not come by chance. They are the result of years of sacrifice, development and steady improvement.”
He added that the TTFA remains committed to strengthening the officiating pathway.
“As an Association, we see referees as an essential part of the game’s growth. It reinforces our belief that Trinidad and Tobago can consistently produce world-class football professionals, on and off the field.”
