2025 FCB Cup takes place in Couva
The draw for the 2025 edition of the First Citizens Bank Cup (FCB) Knockout Cup, the annual Knockout Competition for Clubs participating in the TTPFL Tier 1 and Tier 2, took place at the Ato Boldon Stadium today. The draw for the competing teams also took place at the Couva venue. Teams will by vying for a Winners Prize of $100,000 with the runners up taking home $50,000.
– Unlike previous editions and with the expansion of Tier 2, we now have 12 Tier 1 teams and 21 Tier 2 Teams taking part in the competition.
– To fulfill the 32 team bracket of the single elimination tournament there will be a playoff match between RSSR and Miscellsneous Laventille to determine who gets the 32nd spot on Thursday April 30th 2025.
– Teams were drawn randomly at the officisl draw at the Ato Boldon Stadium on April 29th and will begin the competition on May 7th 2025.

Of 32 teams contesting the 2025 First Citizen Cup, 31 took part in Tuesday’s draw, with the final slot being filled via a playoff to be played today, between RSSR and Miscellaneous Laventille United, the bottom teams in Tier 2.
