TTFA G-LEAGUE KICKS OFF IN MAY
The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) is pleased to announce the return of the TTFA G-League, the country’s premier developmental football competition for girls ages 9 to 14. The 2025 season of the G-League commences on the weekend of 3rd May 2025, continuing its momentum in shaping the future of women’s football.
Now in its third year, the G-League continues to play a crucial role in the TTFA’s Women’s Football Strategy — creating access, equity, and opportunity for young female footballers across the country.
This year’s edition will feature two exciting categories:
- G12 – Girls aged 9–12 years playing 7v7
- G14 – Girls aged 12–14 years playing 11v11
These divisions are designed to match the players’ developmental needs while preparing them for the competitive standards of regional and international youth tournaments. Click here to Register
“The G-League is more than just matches — it’s a movement. It creates a fun, safe, and competitive environment that inspires girls to fall in love with the game, while helping us identify the next generation of national players,” said Jinelle James, Director of Women’s Football at the TTFA.
The 2025 competition will see increased participation, with teams expected from across multiple zones in Trinidad and Tobago. Matches will be played on weekends from May to July, with an emphasis on development, teamwork, and confidence-building both on and off the field.
