Defence Force hosts Women Wellness Football series

A Trinidad and Tobago High Performance U-17/U-20 Team will participate in the 3 W – Women Warriors Wellness Football Invitational tournament hosted by the Defence Force Women’s Football Club starting on July 13th at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.

The competition will also feature the Grenada Senior Women’s and Under 18 National Teams along with the AC Port of Spain, Club Sando and Queen’s Park CC Women teams. The T&T team will comprise of players from the U-20 and U-17 age group.

This competition was initiated following discussions with the Grenada Football Association, Defence Force and the TTFA.

There will be a double header opening day, July 13th at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Grenada’s Senior team will take on Defence Force from 5:10pm followed by the T&T High Performance team facing Cub Sando from 7:30pm. Admission is free but patrons are encouraged to make contributions towards Grenada’s hurricane relief efforts.

Grenada’s U-18 Women’s team will also engage in matches against T&T Girls U-15s High Performance team, Pleasantville Secondary and Pro Series.
