Normalization Committee congratulates Men’s Team
The Normalization Committee of the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) congratulates the players and coaching staff of this country’s senior men’s national team, under the leadership of Angus Eve, following their performances in the 2023/2024 Concacaf Nations League Group Stage.
The results (three wins and one loss) have placed them second in the Concacaf Nations League’s Group A and have assured qualification to the Quarter Final round where they will play USA, away on November 16th, 2023 and then at home on November 20th, 2023.
Every member of the team showed fighting spirit, grit and determination throughout the matches.
We extend special congratulations to coach Angus Eve who has rallied both his team and coaching staff and is beginning to reap the results. Angus and the team know that there is still a lot of work to do and will be focused on addressing areas for improvement to ensure that every member of the team gives their best.
We are proud of how the team has performed, and we wish them every success in the rest of the tournament. Every one of the players must be congratulated for their commitment, discipline, and total effort.
We would all do well to take example from their never-say-die attitude. It’s important to note that this is a team that comprises twelve (12) players from our TT Premier Football League, and this speaks to the talent in the domestic league and the quality of work being done by our local coaches and trainers.
