T&T to meet US in Beach Soccer at Venice
Trinidad and Tobago Beach Soccer Teams Set for Historic U.S. Soccer Doubleheader in California
Trinidad and Tobago’s Men’s and Women’s Beach Soccer National Teams are preparing for an exciting international assignment as they arrived in California to face their United States counterparts in a historic beach soccer doubleheader on Sunday, June 21, at Venice Beach.
The event, organized by U.S. Soccer and presented by Volkswagen, will take place at 3100 Ocean Front Walk in Venice Beach, just steps away from U.S. Soccer House in Los Angeles.
The Trinidad and Tobago Women’s Beach Soccer National Team will take on the United States Women’s Beach Soccer National Team at 3:00 p.m. Trinidad and Tobago time (12:00 p.m. PT), followed by the Men’s Beach Soccer National Team’s encounter against the United States at 4:30 p.m. Trinidad and Tobago time (1:30 p.m. PT).
The occasion represents a significant opportunity for both T&T teams to test themselves against two of the leading beach soccer programmes in the Concacaf region while continuing their development on the international stage.
The U.S. Women’s Beach Soccer National Team enters the event as one of the highest-ranked teams in the world and recently captured the 2026 Acapulco Beach Soccer Cup. Meanwhile, the U.S. Men’s Beach Soccer National Team boasts seven FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup appearances and three Concacaf championships.
For T&T, the doubleheader offers valuable international exposure and the chance to showcase the nation’s growing presence in beach soccer. The matches will also provide players and technical staff with a benchmark against elite regional opposition as preparations continue for future international competitions.
The event is expected to attract significant attention as part of U.S. Soccer’s wider World Cup-related activities currently taking place across the United States.
