T&T eFootballers finish third

Trinidad and Tobago’s national eFootball athletes concluded a rewarding campaign at the FIFAe Continental Championship in Mexico City, led by a third-place finish in the Console division.

With this result, Trinidad and Tobago stood as the only English-speaking nation to reach the Top 3 in the Console category across North and Central America in our debut campaign.

Team Trinidad and Tobago finished the group stage in second place behind Mexico, who would proceed to win the overall competition.

The Console squad; comprising Captain Javon Charles, Michael Ramsey, and Kwasi Crichlow, competed from August 27 to 31, navigating a challenging double-elimination bracket to earn third place on the regional stage.

Javon Charles:
“Extremely proud of our efforts in Mexico City seeing that this is our first international 2v2 competition we showed that we belong amongst the best in the region and by extension the world, with this experience we can only get better with that being said this is a great opportunity for young gamers to see that you can represent your country at the highest level in esports”

In the Mobile category, held from August 26 to 30, the squad led by Captain Damus Munroe, alongside Deylon Reid and Micah Williams, delivered a resilient effort to advance through to the semifinal round against elite regional competition.
